egyptian proverb

"friendship doubles joy and halves griefs"
this eguptian proverb means that when you have a good friendship then you can have more fun and happiness and you dont have to so depressed any more because you can either share what you are going through with that friend, or you can just have their presents take away the pain.
this is true. i had a best friend named molly michelle blandford. we did everything together and was always with each other. if we werent together, then someone would ask "wheres molly?" or "wheres amanda?" we even took our track pictures together. anyways, thats besides the point. we had the best of times together! like this one time, it may not even seem fun but i guess it didnt matter because we were together and you couldnt really do this with just a regular friend, but we cleaned her back patio and trust me, that thing we hugh. we vacuumed, we dusted the wood off and the doors (because it was screened in), we moved everything and we made it all pretty in there and it took from dawn to dusk and we didnt care! we had the music on and we just kept going. her parents would even come out every now and then and would say we have done enough but we just was in the mood and didnt stop. lol. and then i guess a time for the "halves griefs" would be when i could actually vent on somebody and be able to cry with. i would never express my feelings to anyone until we became best friends and then it seemed like cake. :)
